2026 RELATIONSHIP CHALLENGE
Our next cohort will begin on February 1st, 2026. There are only 20 spots available.
Are you ready to level-up your relationship?
Improve your communication? Reduce silly fights? Enjoy your time together?
The 2026 Challenge consists of two parts: an online training and a coaching system to help you dial in your systems.
Online Training
This online course will teach you specific skills and vocabulary to help you communicate and work as a team.
Online training course, accessible anywhere/anytime
No need to interact with anyone
8 weeks
Less than 10 minutes each day
Coaching
Once you complete the online training, we will do a 90-minute coaching session to help with specific guidance around what you need as individuals and as a couple.
Can be done online or in-person.
A good chance to ask questions and fine-tune your resilience routine.
A opportunity to discuss your next steps.
What You’ll Learn
-
This training is built for couples where one or both partners work as a first responder (or other helping professional). That work comes with very specific challenges, so we will spend some time building an understanding of the language and concepts you need to know.
-
“How are we doing” isn’t always a straightforward question. The training will provide you with some specific tools to assessing both your individual and relationship status.
-
Strong relationships don’t just happen - they must be diligently maintained. The final module of the training teaches you how to build a resilience routine that is uniquely built for your needs. This isn’t a cookie-cutter plan, this is a method and a system that you will design specifically for you.
Three Phases of Preparation
Each of the phases below will help you assess your own well-being and communicate it with your partner. We will work together to develop the skills and tools that you need to work as a team.
SECTION ONE: UNDERSTAND
First, we cover the core vocabulary and concepts that will be the foundation of your resilience routine. We can’t make a solid plan if we don’t speak the same language.
SECTION TWO: ASSESS
Next, we will examine the skills needed to evaluate your well-being. Assessing our own mental health can be challenging without the right tools and skills, we will cover three specific tools to help. There are also lessons that guide you through conversations to increase your connection and understanding.
SECTION THREE: ADAPT
Finally, we put it all together into a system that is built specifically for you - both as individuals and as a couple. You will learn how to understand your needs and build a plan that will actually help. More importantly, you will learn a method and system that flex over time to meet your changing needs.
8 Weeks
Less Than 10 Minutes/Day
Proactive. Practical. No-bullshit.

Maybe. Maybe not. Some folks just need a bit of training and guidance to get back on track. Others need more assistance with trauma, communication problems, or other areas of work.
Even if you need more help at the end, this training will give you clarity around exactly what you need, which saves time and effort when seeking that support.
-
Probably not. This program isn’t designed for crisis support — it’s focused on building skills. If you are struggling to communicate without constant conflict, it might be better to connect with a qualified clinician in your area.
-
Yes! With the caveat that we will be intense about the confidentiality of participants. If you purchase for your organization, we are happy to provide completion numbers, but no identifying information. For more information, email shannon@stackofstones.com.

Not for the online training. We have deliberately set the price low to keep it accessible. We have also enabled payment plan programs within the checkout. For refuel/repair programs, some financial support is available.
